It was very light winds for this year's Dana Belles, and with the strong current some of us thought we'd never get to "A" Mark. Some boats went way left and some boats went way right, but either way, there were some very tight finishes and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Because there was only two races, it led to a lot of ties. For overalls there was a 4 way tie for first place and it took 3 levels of tie breaking to determine the overall winner was Rattle & Hum. Sol Mate did an outstanding job this year and won first place in the Non-Spinnaker class. Russ West was unanimously nominated as the Most Supportive Man for donating his boat, Spare Parts, to the crew of Caprice Hatch and Janine Conners, enabling us to have one more boat in the competition.

It was a lot of fun and we hope to have more ladies join us next year.
