The race format will be non-spinnaker to maximize the fun for novice sailors.&nbsp;The only requirement is to help us raise money for this year's Charity Regatta beneficiary, the Ocean Institute, by placing your bid for one of the limited number of crew spots on the five boats participating in this 'Race of Champions'. &nbsp;The top 8 bidders will be given their choice of boat to race aboard, starting with the highest bidder. &nbsp;Selections will be made the morning of the event during the Skipper s meeting. &nbsp;All other winning bidders will be assigned to the remaining crew spots on the race boats by random drawing.<img src="images/roc07.jpg" border="0" align="right"> <p>The mission of the Ocean Institute is to inspire all generations, through education, to become responsible stewards of our oceans. You can submit a higher bid at any time up to the deadline of the bidding. &nbsp;Only the winning bids will be required to be completed with a check payable to the Ocean Institute.
